General Presentations

Additional Definitions for General Presentations and Paediatrics (not included in menus due to length):

  • Important Presentations: At the end of the ICCH terms students are expected to demonstrate
    an organized approach to well‐child & adult check‐up in General Practice and Paediatrics. This
    includes being able to take a targeted history and perform a targeted examination, as well as
    formulate an appropriate differential diagnosis and/or problem list.
  • Red Flags: Students will be able to identify red flags which may indicate a serious condition
    including:
  • Important Conditions: Students will demonstrate knowledge of the following common and/or
    important conditions which present in General Practice and/or Paediatrics, including knowledge
    of the relevant epidemiology, pathophysiology and basic principles of management.
  • Important Skills: Students will demonstrate the ability to perform the following physical
    examination techniques and procedures:
