Outcome 4.9.271: Understand how risk and resiliency factors can impact on childhood behaviours including;

  • Prenatal influences (ie drugs, alcohol, infections, IUGR)
  • Perinatal factors especially those that impact on attachment ie post‐partum depression
  • Innate temperament
  • Family environment – ie level of parental education, family stress, socioeconomic factors
  • Societal factors – ie media, advertising, computer
  • School environment – ie bullying, learning difficulties
