Outcome 4.9.254: Red flags;

  • Signs of sepsis – (high fever>3 8.5, rigors, altered mental state, tachycardia, prolonged cap refill >2 sec)
  • Fever in baby < 3 months
  • Signs meningococcal disease – (petechial/purpuric rash, headache and vomiting, meningism)
  • Jaundice and/or anemia
  • Tachypnea and/or signs respiratory distress
  • New murmurs
  • Unexplained rash
  • Severe pain
  • Unexplained fever > 1 week
