- Hypotension
- Progressive intractable vomiting
- Increasing abdominal distention
- Increasing intensity of pain
- Prostration
- Rebound tenderness and guarding
- Atrial fibrillation or tachycardia
- Decreased urine output
- Positive pregnancy test
- History atherosclerotic disease (ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm)
